Jewish Voice from Germany

November 8, 2011 § Leave a comment

I’ve been asked to write for the above named publication and am very excited about this. Here’s a link to the prototype for the paper:

Its founder and publisher is a well-known German-Jewish author, Rafael Seligmann. Here’s a Wikipedia link in German on him:

With this newspaper Seligmann is keen to show the English-speaking world that the Jewish community in Germany is multi-faceted and is not as Holocaust-focused as many in the English speaking world believe.

The paper initially will come out quarterly and is free. It has an initial print run of about 25,000 and is being distributed through Jewish organizations mainly in the States, Canada and the UK.

Dearest Nice Jewish Girl in Germany blog readers…Are you interested in this? If so, what types of stories would you like to see in the paper?

I’ll be writing about politics and economics, but also lifestyle stories, like what it’s like to raise Jewish kids in Germany. Your ideas/suggestions are welcome.
